Golden Seal

Golden Seal is traditionally used in Western herbal practice to support healthy mucous tissue of the respiratory tract and support the clearing of mucus.

Traditionally used in Western herbal practice:

• To support healthy mucous tissue of the respiratory tract and support excess mucus.
• For the relief of mild inflammation of the mucous membranes of the respiratory and digestive tracts.
• To stimulate gastric secretions, bile flow from the liver and support healthy digestion.
• To relieve symptoms of indigestion such as bloating and gas.

Ingredients - Each tablet contains :
Hydrastis canadensis (Golden Seal) extract 1.5 mL
derived from root & rhizome dry 500 mg
Excipients: Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, hypromellose,  magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycollate.

Dosage - Adults: 1 tablet 2-3 times daily.

No added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, corn, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners, colours or flavours.

Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Warnings, cautions and contraindications:
Berberine may reinforce the effects of other drugs which displace the protein binding of bilirubin. Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation. Caution in patients taking midazolam. If diarrhoea persists for more than 6 hours in infants under 6 months, 12 hours in children under 3 years, 24 hours in children aged 3 - 6 years or 48 hours in adults and children over 6 years, seek medical advice. Until definitive research is available, do no use in jaundiced neonates. Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
