Ingredients:

Each capsule contains:

 

Phellodendron amurense (Phellodendron) extract derived from min. stem bark dry standardised to contain berberine 38 mg

Andrographis paniculata (Andrographis) extract derived from min. whole plant dry standardised to contain andrographolide 10 mg

100 mg 1 g

Anise oil (Pimpinella anisum)

125 mg

Origanum vulgare (Oregano) leaf essential oil

75 mg

 

Directions

Adults: 1-2 capsules 3 times daily

 

Allergen Information

MediHerb Bacto-C and GI is free from Gluten, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, corn, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners or flavours.

 

Excipients

Colour, ethylcellulose, gelatin, glycerol, hydrochloric acid, lecithin, medium chain triglycerides, oleic acid, purified water, rice bran oil, sodium alginate, stearic acid, strong ammonia solution, yellow beeswax.

 

Warnings

  • Andrographis may cause allergic reactions in some people. If your patient has a severe reaction (such as anaphylaxis) stop use and advise immediate medical attention.
  • Andrographis has reports of causing taste disturbance including loss of taste. If your patient develops any adverse symptoms, stop use and advise medical assessment.
  • Do not use if pregnant or likely to become pregnant. • Contraindicated in breastfeeding and lactation.
  • If diarrhoea persists for more than 48 hours in adults and children over 6 years, seek medical advice.
  • Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
  • Contains trace amounts of sulfur dioxide and may contain trace amounts of pollen from beeswax.
  • Gelatin capsules naturally contain phenylalanine, caution phenylalanine sensitive patients consuming over two capsules per day.
  • Caution in patients taking immunosuppressive drugs.
  • Berberine may reinforce the effects of other drugs which displace the protein binding of bilirubin.
  • If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.
