Nevaton Forte
Nevaton Forte combines herbs traditionally used in Western herbal practice to support healthy mood balance and to give nervous system support for times of stress and worry. It supports calmness of mind and relaxation and sleep.
Nevaton Forte may assist with:
- Helps relieve nervous unrest and mild anxiety.
- Beneficial during times of stress.
- Help relieve sleeplessness and support disturbed or restless sleep
- Helps promote healthy mood balance.
Ingredients:
Each tablet contains:
Hypericum perforatum (St John's Wort) extract 125 mg
derived from min. herb top flowering dry 750 mg
standardised to contain hypericin 375 microgram
equivalent to flavonoid glycosides 7.5 mg
Schisandra chinensis (Schisandra) extract 112.5 mg
derived from fruit dry 675 mg
Scutellaria lateriflora (Skullcap) extract 1 mL
derived from herb dry 500 mg
Crocus sativus (Saffron) extract 7.5 mg
derived from stigma dry 22.5 mg
Excipients: Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate Dihydrate, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Croscarmellose Sodium, Dextrin, Hypromellose, Magnesium Stearate, Maltodextrin, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Starch Glycollate.
No Added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners, colours or flavours. Suitable for Vegans.
Dosage: Adults: Take 1 tablet 3 to 4 times daily.
Warnings:
- Caution in pregnancy and lactation
- May cause hyperaesthesia in some sensitive individuals especially when combined with a high exposure to sunlight
- St John's Wort is not advisable in cases of known photosensitivity and in those taking photosensitising drugs. Patients taking high doses should avoid excessive exposure to sunlight and UV radiation
- As Schisandra may accelerate clearance of the drugs from the body, caution is advised prescribing herbs for patients taking drugs with a narrow therapeutic window, including warfarin and digoxin
- St John's Wort affects the way some prescription practices work
- Concurrent administration of high doses of St John's Wort is contraindicated with the following drugs: warfarin, digoxin, immunosuppressive drugs such as cyclosporin, indinavir (HIV protease inhibitor), nevirapine (HIV non-nucleoside transcriptase inhibitor); docetaxel by injection, phenprocoumon, nifedipine, methadone, finasteride, clozapine, cancer chemotherapeutic drugs such as irinotecan and calcium channel antagonists such as verapamil
- Caution is advised in patients taking other drug medications, including combined oral contraceptives
- Consume at least 2 hours away from ingestion of mineral supplements
- Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
- If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice
