Chromium Plus™ contains a unique form of chromium polynicotinate, along with alpha lipoic acid, inositol & vanadium to assist healthy blood sugar metabolism. Chromium is an essential nutrient that plays an important role in glucose metabolism by enhancing the effects of insulin. Evidence suggests that chromium supplementation may alleviate symptoms associated with insulin resistance, such as high blood glucose and lipid abnormalities.

Chromium has been shown to be beneficial in assisting varying degrees of glucose intolerance, and helping to control sugar cravings.

Chromium Plus™ features chromium polynicotinate, a niacin-bound chromium. This form demonstrates high bioavailability and effectiveness. Toxicity has not been reported.Chromium polynicotinate has been shown to support healthy weight loss in women. Prior to the discovery of insulin in 1922, vanadium was used for the control of blood sugar.

Zinc is an important mineral that plays a role in the synthesis and action of insulin. The human body does not produce zinc on its own, so it must be obtained from outside sources. This is particularly important in individuals who may be zinc deficient.Inositol is required for normal nerve function.
